Home / Education
While living at the orphanage, children receive an education from nursery to the end of primary school, which is typically completed around the age of 14. All children attend an English Medium Primary School, with a few exceptions.
After completing their primary education, they move on to Wali ul Asr Seminary, a boarding school, in Kibaha for their ‘O’ and ‘A’ level studies. During mid-term and end-of-year breaks, the students return to the orphanage to spend their holidays with their peers and the caretakers.
Upon finishing secondary education, students who achieve a First, Second, or Third Division continue their studies at colleges or universities. Those who do not wish to pursue higher education have the option to enroll in vocational courses at VETA (Vocational Education and Training Authority) or in accounting institutions.
With the right support, motivation and resources, they have the potential to excel. There are some children who consistently brought home outstanding results and have been enrolled into higher education institutions while still under our support. As of 2025 we have had 8 graduates from university in various fields from journalism to nursing.
We provide shelter, education, and care to orphans in Morogoro, Tanzania since 1995.
