Commemorating the Wiladat/Wafaat of Hazrat Abbas (A.S.)
This year, the children, staff, and management at Dar ul Muslimeen Orphanage gathered to commemorate the blessed occasion of Hazrat Abbas (A.S.). Known as the embodiment of loyalty, bravery, and selflessness, Hazrat Abbas holds an inspiring place in the hearts of our children.
Our commemoration program focused on instilling the noble character traits of the standard-bearer of Karbala:
Special Gatherings and Recitations: The children participated in a dedicated gathering, reciting heartfelt poetry and learning about his unwavering loyalty and devotion to Imam Hussain (A.S.).
Lessons in Loyalty and Character: Discussions highlighted his courage, protection of the vulnerable, and ultimate sacrifice, offering the children powerful moral lessons on integrity, duty, and standing steadfast in the face of adversity.
Niyaz (Charity): In keeping with the spirit of generosity associated with his legacy, special meals were prepared and shared among the children and staff.
Honoring figures like Hazrat Abbas (A.S.) helps ground our children in moral excellence and spiritual strength, providing them with timeless role models of resilience and selfless service.
